But does experience mean everything I write will always remain correct?
No.
Technology changes. Government policies change. Electricity tariffs change. Solar costs change. New research becomes available.
This is why BharatGoGreen follows a simple editorial, research and correction process.
Why Do We Publish an Article?
I normally start with a simple question.
Will this information actually help someone?
If the answer is yes, the topic is worth exploring.
Sometimes the idea comes from my professional experience. Sometimes readers ask the same question repeatedly. Sometimes I find people confused about something as simple as the right solar system size for their home.
There are also topics where plenty of information is available online, but a normal reader may still struggle to understand it.
That is where I try to help.
I would try to make things as simple as possible.
BharatGoGreen is not intended to publish articles simply because a subject is trending or because a particular keyword is being searched.
The purpose is to explain useful information in a way that a reader can understand and use.
How Do I Research an Article?
Through my research and experience in this field, I will constantly be adding new content to this blog through reliable sources.
But what do I mean by a reliable source?
For important facts, I try to go as close as possible to the original source.
For example, if I am writing about a Government of India solar scheme, I would prefer information from the concerned ministry or official government portal instead of relying only on another blog explaining the scheme.
For electricity regulations, renewable energy targets, environmental rules or government programmes, official authorities normally remain the first preference.
For scientific and technical subjects, I may also refer to research papers, recognised technical organisations, standards, manufacturers, industry reports and other established sources.
News reports and other websites can help understand a subject, but important facts should be verified wherever possible.
Forums and social media are also useful, but in a different way.
People often explain their actual problems there.
Someone may ask, “Why is my rooftop solar generation much lower in summer than the installer promised?”
That question is valuable.
But one person’s answer on a forum does not automatically become a fact. I would investigate the question further before using the information.
What About Numbers and Calculations?
Numbers can make an article useful, but they can also make it misleading if the assumptions are not explained.
Take a solar calculator as an example.
Can a calculator tell you exactly how many units of electricity your solar system will generate next year?
No.
It can provide an estimate based on location, solar radiation, system size, losses and other assumptions.
Actual generation can be different because of shading, weather, panel orientation, equipment performance, dust, maintenance and several other factors.
Where BharatGoGreen provides a calculator, formula, comparison or estimate, I try to check the calculation, units and assumptions before publishing it.
Where assumptions are important, I also try to explain them rather than presenting an estimated number as a guaranteed result.
The same principle applies to savings, costs, payback periods and energy consumption.
Do I Update Old Articles?
Yes.
An article may have been correct when it was written and still become outdated later.
This is especially common with government schemes, prices, policies, subsidies, technology and statistics.
When an older article is reviewed, I check whether the important facts still make sense today.
Sometimes only a small change is required.
Sometimes the entire article needs to be reconsidered.
I do not believe an article becomes fresh simply by changing its publication date.
If you see an article substantially updated on BharatGoGreen, the purpose of that update should be to make the information more useful or accurate.
Whenever possible, older information that can mislead readers will be corrected, updated or removed.
What Happens If I Make a Mistake?
Can BharatGoGreen publish an incorrect fact?
Yes. It is possible.
Even after research and checking, mistakes can happen.
If I find a genuine factual error, I will correct it.
Small spelling, grammar or formatting mistakes may simply be fixed.
If a correction changes an important conclusion, number or recommendation in an article, I may also add an explanation so that readers understand what was changed.
I would rather correct an error than leave incorrect information online simply because it was published earlier.
If you find something that looks wrong, please tell me.
A reader questioning a number or statement can sometimes help improve an article for thousands of other readers.
How Do I Handle Different Opinions?
Not every sustainability or energy question has one perfect answer.
Should you install a larger solar system today because your electricity consumption may increase later?
Should an industry replace existing equipment immediately with a more efficient model?
The answer can depend on cost, location, technology, operating conditions and many other factors.
Where there is no single answer, I try to explain the assumptions and different possibilities rather than pretending that one answer will work for everyone.
Personal observations or practical experience will also be presented as such.
They should not be confused with a government rule, research result or established technical fact.
Do I Use Digital Tools While Creating Content?
Yes.
Like most people working online today, I may use search tools, calculation tools and other digital tools to assist with research, organise information, check calculations, improve language or identify areas that require further verification.
AI based tools may also be used as part of this process.
But a tool finding or generating information does not automatically make that information correct.
Important facts, calculations and sources should still be checked before an article is published or substantially updated.
The final responsibility for content published under my name remains with me.
Technology can assist the work but it should not replace the judgement.
What About Product Claims and Company Information?
A manufacturer will naturally explain the benefits of its own product.
Does that mean those claims are wrong?
Not necessarily.
But they should not automatically be treated as independent evidence either.
When discussing a product, technology or company claim, I try to separate manufacturer information from independently available information wherever it is important.
If BharatGoGreen has a commercial relationship that may reasonably influence how readers view a piece of content, that relationship should be disclosed clearly.
Editorial conclusions should not be changed simply because a company or advertiser wants a more favourable opinion.
